Anna Jones - managing director

Anna has been a professional writer for over 12 years. She started Girl.Copy in 2015 at the behest of her mentors, who said she was “too smart to work for anyone else.” She likes being called “smart,” so she did what they said. Ever since then, she’s worked for Fortune 500 companies, tiny startups on big beaches, and high-level executives as their own personal tweet writer - oh, and she’s ghostedited and ghostwritten a few tomes as well. For 4 years running, she was named one of the Top 5 Resume Writers in Atlanta by Find My Profession. In her free time, Anna enjoys binge watching horror movies, secret-eating chocolate in bed, and hanging out with her cool family.

She holds a degree in Comparative Literature from UC Santa Barbara so you know she also really likes books, like, a lot. JASON VELAZQUEZ - WRITER

Jason is an information architect, product copywriter, and web developer. He writes a newsletter about technology, politics, and the fun places the two intersect. He enjoys curating lists—an activity that feeds his brain— and sharing them with his friends, unsolicited. Jason is a solo traveler, pastry sommelier, and admirer of the French Goodbye. He likes full-grain leather weekend bags, brass pocket knives, and waxed canvas totes. His life’s goal is to own a small goat farm in Montana where he can write a mediocre novel and grow a long, patchy beard. There, he will slowly settle into his new reclusive lifestyle. When the world suddenly ends, he will trek through a hero’s journey story where he must transport a child across the country to save humanity. Jason’s favorite treat is a venti Dragon Drink from Starbucks.
